Glenn Denton Hohiemer, 66, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 13, 1957 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late John William Hohiemer, Jr. and Patsy Marie West Hohiemer. Glenn worked as a truck driver and was a member of BridgePoint Church. He was a loving husband , father and grandfather. Glenn had a big personality and always had something silly to say to make people smile.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Hohiemer III; and a sister, Lodeema DeeDee Hohiemer.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Vickie Hohiemer; two sons, Christopher Hohiemer and Adam Hohiemer; three grandchildren, Trey Babb, Seth Babb, and Hailey Black; two brothers, Sam (Susie) Hohiemer and David Hohiemer (Donna); sister-in-law, Debbie Hohiemer; a special niece, Robin Hagerman (Roger); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
