Owensboro Catholic faced off against #14 ranked Ryle where Karmin Riley’s 23 points helped the Lady Aces to a 77-63 victory.
Catholic’s effort on defense helped them get an edge as they had 9 steals as a team, and they were more aggressive on rebounding as OCHS had 33 total boards to Ryle’s 25. Free throws played a crucial role as the Lady Aces shot 17/20 as a team.
Owensboro Catholic had 4 players score in the double digits. Riley’s 23 points led the Lady Aces in scoring, and she made 3 three pointers and shot 4 of 4 from the free throw line as well. Jenna Krampe followed behind with 17 points while shooting 5 of 6 on free throws. Delaney Cooper had 16 points, made 4 threes and recorded 10 rebounds to complete the double-double. Aubrey Randolph shot 4 of 4 from the free throw line and had a three pointer to go along with her 11 points. Hailee Johnson shot 4 of 6 on free throws as part of her 10 points on the night as well.
The Lady Aces wrap up their regular season against Breckinridge County on Feb. 23.
