Judy Elizabeth Asbury Black, 66 of Rockport, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born on July 31, 1957 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Marie Davenport Asbury. Judy was a member of Abundant Life Church in Beaver Dam and she was retired from Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab where she worked at a certified medication technician.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Asbury.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her husband of 34 years, David Black of Rockport; one son, Timothy Wayne (Kristy) Ford of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Jimmy (Callie) Asbury of Martwick and Clyde Asbury of Central City; one sister, Patricia Asbury of Rockport and two grandchildren, Keri Ford and John Ford.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 2024 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Keith Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery. Friends may visit with Judy’s family from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
