Melinda Crabtree Norris, 71, of Reynolds Station passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville IN. Melinda was born in Daviess County to the late Lewis and Molly Minton Crabtree. She was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Deanefield Baptist Church. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab for 31 years.
In addition to her parents, Melinda is preceded in death by her stepson, Dewayne Norris and her brothers David, Rudy and Spencer Crabtree.
Melinda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Norris and children, Thomas Norris, Allen (Rachael) Norris, John Douglas Norris and Vickie (David) Willis; grandchildren, Kendall Norris and Chris Richards; great grandchild, Saryna Richards and her brothers, Roger and Eugene Crabtree.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, KY., with burial following at Cates Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
