Jeffery M. Howe, 70, of Maceo completed his earthly journey on January 15, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Jeff was born October 30, 1953 in Owensboro to Robert “Bob” Smith Howe and the late Doris Ann Gillians Howe. Jeff was a devoted family man and found great joy in watching his girls and grandchildren grow. He was retired from Glenmore Distillery where he gave 43 years of service and made numerous friends and memories. Jeff was an avid sports fan and loved attending Western Kentucky University sporting events. He loved the beach, watching his grandkids play sports, and all things outdoors including keeping the yard mowed.

In addition to his mother, Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Ginger Howe Boehm of Owensboro.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Ann Petri Howe; daughters, Tammy Howe White and husband Dustin of Sturgis, and Holli Howe Waltrip and husband Brad of Bowling Green, father, Robert “Bob” Smith Howe and companion Betty Axford of Owensboro; grandchildren, Cooper Waltrip, Annabeth White, Clay Waltrip, Luke White, and Katherine White; in-laws, Karol Walker of West Louisville, Charles E. Petri, III of Maceo, Fred Petri and wife Becky of Philpot, and Mike Petri and wife Darlene of Lewisport; nieces and nephews, Garret (Stacey) Carter of Owensboro, Alan (Dana) Petri of Lewisport, Shannon (Steve) Divine of Owensboro, Jennifer (Jarrod) Rickard of Philpot, Kimberly (Jason) Collignon of Owensboro, Steven (Holly) Petri of Philpot, Cori (Larry Joe) Douglas of Owensboro, Jason (Amy) Petri of Philpot, Katie Petri of Owensboro, and Michelle (Colby) Grayson of Owensboro; several great-nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Curtis Carter of Owensboro, Beth (Greg) Tanner of Owensboro, and Bill Boehm of Owensboro.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
