Donald Catron, 92, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at home while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born on September 3, 1931 in Winchester, KY to the late William Beckham and Margaret Ford Catron. He was a United States Navy Reserve Veteran and was a farmer.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by four brothers, Eugene, William, James, and Thomas Catron.
Survivors include his wife of 71 and 1/2 years, Jane Gregory Catron; daughter, Debby Parker (Larry); sons, Barry Catron and Brian Catron (Lee Ann); five grandchildren, Mark Catron, Danny Leonard II, Derrick Leonard, Mindy Gilbert and Dustin Leonard; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho, KY.
