Keith O. Horne, age 88 of Harned, KY passed away January 9, 2024 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on July 8, 1935, son of the late Grover and Lovell Horne. Keith was a veteran of the United States Army, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Custer Masonic Lodge. He was a self employed handyman who previously worked with Brown and Williamson and Horne’s Dry Cleaning. He enjoyed being outdoors – fishing, hunting and camping. He loved family time, especially with his grandchildren and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Virginia Horne, his son Brice Horne and his brother Barron Horne.
Keith is survived by 2 children: Jeff Horne of Harned, KY and Sabra Wood of Florida
4 grandchildren: Michael, Morgan and Maxwell Horne and Hannah Albee
5 great grandchildren: Gage, Jaxon and Melodee Horne, Harlynn and Bennett Albee
Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 12 – 3 PM with military honors beginning at 3 PM.
