CENTRAL CITY – Thelma Francis Sadler, 74, of Central City died Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:54AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Sadler was born April 5, 1949 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Sadler Sr.; parents, James and Janie Wood; brother, Terry Wood; grandson, James Bourne; and great-grandson, Bentley Hunter.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Medford, Bennie (Stephanie) Sadler Jr., and Christie Vincent; grandchildren, Casey Bourne, Skylar Baker, Dwight Hunter Jr., Ashley Phelps, Erika Traore, Zachary Sadler, Hailey Sadler, and Brandon Luttrell; 19 great-grandchildren; and brothers, James T. Wood, and Donnie Wood.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 11AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Markus Hardison officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
