Billy Ray Dennis, 64, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 24, 1959, in Owensboro, to the late George Dennis and Joyce Jones. Billy proudly served in the Marines for eight years. He was the owner of Owensboro Sewer and Drain Cleaning Services, and at one time had a private investigator business. In his spare time away from work he enjoyed fixing anything that needed to be repaired, for himself and others.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Clifton Dennis, and a sister, Misty Riley.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Tabatha Carter; four grandchildren, Jayden Mills, Dylon Canary, Kieanna Dennis, and Axton Carter; two brothers, Barry Dennis, and Robert Dennis; and a two sisters, Geraldine Havener and Shadow Bailey.
A memorial service for Billy will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023, at the Cadillac Motel, 1311 W. 2nd Street, Owensboro, KY, 42301, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
