Mahlon is survived by his wife Mary of 43 years, 7 months and 3 days and their children, Emma Sue (Robert) Mast, Irene (Henry Adam) Byler, Samuel (Rebecca) Byler, Magdalena (Joe) Detweiler, Steven (Barbara) Byler, Regena Ann (Aden) Yoder and 25 grandchildren; siblings, Andy (Lena) Byler, Lydia (Homer) Miller, Simon (Sarah) Byler, Koe (Elizabeth) Byler, Samuel (Naomi) Byler, Lester (Laura) Byler and Danny (Miriam) Byler along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mahlon in death was his parents, Reuben A. and Emma S. Byler; brother, Reuben Byler, Jr.; nephews, Sammy Byler and Jerry Byler.
Funeral Services for Mahlon will be held at 9 am on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the home of Johnny Yoder, 1505 Tick Ridge Rd. Hawesville, KY 42348 with burial following in Sunny Meadows Cemetery. Bishop Toby Schrock will be presiding over the service. Visitation will be hold on Wednesday and Thursday at the home of Johnny Yoder as well.
