Retus D. Stinnett, 83, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on July 28, 1940 in Daviess County to the late Virgil, Sr. & Myrtle Stinnett. Retus retired from Bobby Roberts Automotive and enjoyed going to yard sales.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Marie, Joe, Virgil Jr., Bobby, Homer, and Rex.
Survivors include his three children, Kevin Stinnett, Donald “Donnie” Stinnett, and Karen Ellis; brother, James Billy Stinnett; sister, Shirley Hayden.
At Retus’s request there will be no visitation or services. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
