Daviess County and Owensboro traveled to Paducah to compete in the 2023 Mustang Invitational that consisted of 15 teams.
DCHS
Daviess County’s A team finished 8th overall and their B team finished 13th. Madilyn Phelps and Ocean Barnett rolled high series and were named to the all-tournament teams. Phelps placed 3rd in girls’ individual scoring after shooting a 384. Barnett tied for 5th in boys’ individual scoring after shooting a 455. Taylor Curry also placed 9th overall shooting a 296.
OHS
Owensboro qualified for 2nd, lost to host McCracken and finished in the top 4 overall. Christian Miller placed highest for the Red Devils in 8th place in boys’ individual scoring. Following behind him was Dehan Riggs who placed 11th and Andrew Christensen who placed 13th.
