Anna Mildred Burnette, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation. She was born February 13, 1939 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky to the late Alfred Edward Tivitt and Mabel Roberts Tivitt. Anna was a member of Apollo Heights Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Burnette; son, Rory Keith Burnette; brothers, Doug Tivitt and Rufus Tivitt; and a sister, Gracie Driskell.
Survivors include four daughters, Rhonda Ross (Donald), Robin Aud (Bobby), Rena Burnette, and Rosanna Powers (Randy); nine grandchildren, Erik Dowell, Brandi Betts (Rodney), Jessica Roark (Kevin), Zachary Aud, Jacob Aud (Destiny), Caleb Burnette (Tawny), Lindsey Hendricks (Adam), Erika Neal (Logan), and Vanessa Griggs (Chris); 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Tom Tivitt (Jeanette) and Logan Tivitt (Judy); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from noon until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
