William R. Ryan, 86, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 6, 1937 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Bill retired from the Las Vegas Hilton where he worked as a security officer and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a life member of DAV Chapter NV13.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Lawrence Ryan; two daughters, Keli Ryan of Owensboro and Theresa Thompson of Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Ryan Hunt, Amanda Hunt, and Matt Hunt.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
