Daviess County had a 4th place finish in a multiple dual tournament at Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School, and Owensboro Catholic placed 6th in the Colonel Duals in Henderson.
DCHS
The Panthers placed 4th after defeating Bourbon County, East Jessamine, and Paul Dunbar’s B team. They were defeated by Paul Dunbar A and Tates Creek. Aidan Ranburger and Gill Nicodemus finished undefeated at 5-0. Another notable performance was Kali Nichols who got a pin on the #20th ranked wrestler in the state at 144 WT.
OCHS
Owensboro Catholic placed 6th after beating Henderson B and Ohio County. They were defeated by John Hard and Western. Andrew Brauer, Cameron Devine and Simmon Landon went undefeated at 4-0. Sam Brayer went 3-1 during the competition as well.
