Doris Thomas “Meme” Fenwick, 84, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born on September 30, 1939 in McLean County to the late Fred & Edith Thomas. Doris retired from Pinkerton Tobacco Company. Doris enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting Las Vegas. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Thomas; and a brother, Frederick Douglas Thomas.
Survivors include her children, Diana McKnight (Herbert), Terri Wheatley (Mike), Stacy Gardner (Marty) and Steven Young (Kathy); eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery in Livermore. Visitation is from noon until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
