Christina Marie Quig, 45, of Owensboro passed away on November 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on May 21, 1978, to parents Ted Carwile and Doris McCarty.
Christina was known for her big heart and bubbly personality. She kept those around her laughing and smiling and always wanted her family together. She enjoyed watching horror movies, wearing tie-dye, and listening to music. Halloween was her favorite holiday and seeing her grandchild dressed up this year was a blessing. Christina was known for her love of coffee, reminiscing with friends, and being a kind, generous woman all her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Candice Melton, Cierra Quig, Kalie Quig, Kaden Holmes, and Chloe Quig; her parents, Ted (Debbie) Carwile and Doris (Charles) McCarty; siblings, Tod Carwile, Racheal Oost, Sarah Gaynor, and Serenity (Rennie Grace) McCarty; grandchildren, Amir Josiah Wells and one on the way; first niece, Allison Carwile; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins that will miss her dearly.
Care has been entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
