Peggy Ann O’Bryan Falloway, 75, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away November 2, 2023. She was born September 1, 1948, to the late John H. and Ruby Lanham O’Bryan. Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Daniel “Danny” R. Falloway; brothers, Richard, Mikie, Billy, and Darrell O’Bryan; and Aunt Margaret Mills O’Bryan.
She is survived by her children, Misty (Ricky) Rudd and Ronnie (Amie) Falloway; grandchildren, Shelbie (J.D.) Nolte, Carson (Brooke) Rudd, Cole Falloway, Camden Rudd, and Baylie Falloway; 1 great-grandchild, Lacie Ann Nolte; 1 step-grandchild; several step-great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Kathy) O’Bryan, Bernice (Ken) Galloway, and Betty (Roger) Conkright; cousins, Barbara Hodskins and Eddie O’Bryan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Peggy Ann was an angel here on Earth and one of the purest of souls. She will be greatly missed by all. She was the most gracious and caring woman with the biggest heart. Peggy’s passion was in the kitchen where she loved to cook all of her family’s favorite meals. She enjoyed spending time with her friends playing bingo and bunco. She also enjoyed cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats during basketball season. Peggy was full of life, she loved to travel, bowl, watch her grandsons race, spend time with her family, and snuggle with her new great-granddaughter, Lacie.
Peggy loved everyone she came in contact with leaving a piece of her loving soul with each heart she touched. One of her many beautiful qualities was putting others before herself demonstrating the love and compassion she had for the Lord with a servants heart. Her legacy will live on forever through her children, grandchildren & great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
