Betty Marie Wade, 88, of Philpot, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023. She was a treasured member of Bethabara Baptist Church, loved flowers, and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Betty was preceded by her husband, Victor.
She is survived by her three children and their families, Christine (Steven), Allen (Debbie), and Nola (Paul); grandchildren, Jenny (Landon and Jessie), April (Larry and Shanna), Nick (Mandy) (Trey and Rayleigh, Carly, Reese), Tyler (Melanie), Spencer, and Elliot; sisters-in-law, Cathy and Dorothy; and several loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at noon on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Cecil Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Ralph Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
