For the past 7 years, the Gallardo and Enríquez families have been operating one of the Real Hacienda food trucks. Now, they’ve taken over ownership of one and are venturing out on their own as Juan’s food truck — named after their father, who consistently made it his mission to provide high-quality food and superior customer service.

The truck was owned by Armando Ortiz and his family, but they recently sold the two Real Hacienda restaurants to Oralis Radilla. There are still trucks under the Real Hacienda brand.

As for the newly named Juan’s food truck, Juan, Carlos, Starlyn Gallardo, and Rosa Enríquez are now leading the charge, preserving some long-time favorite dishes while adding their own twist to the menu.

“We hope as we move on independently that people will still come and try our food,” Enríquez said.

Though initially concerned, Starlyn Gallardo noted the community support has been outstanding and heartwarming.

“People have been reaching out to book us, congratulating us, and letting us know they missed us,” she said. “Customers can expect the same fast-paced, delicious food and outstanding service.”

As they continue to grow their menu offerings, they’re turning to their many loyal patrons for suggestions. Gallardo said several have suggested they add quesabirria tacos and other authentic options, which is their intention.

“We value our customers and their opinions as well,” she said. “It has been a journey since we didn’t know the restaurant was selling until it was sold, but we thank God and everyone who has supported us the whole way and to the new people as well learning and supporting us.”

Juan’s offers catering and event services for special events and private parties, including weddings, birthdays, corporate outings, and more. To keep current with the food truck’s locations, follow it on Facebook here.
