Greenville, KY., Vickie Lynne Snodgrass, 69, of Greenville passed peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on August 6, 1954 the daughter of Wallace Wood and Rosa Butler Wood. She retired from ALCOA in Newburgh Indiana in 2021 where she worked as a Lab Tech. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville. She loved to quilt, craft, travel, and spend time with her family, but most importantly spending time with her great-grandchildren. She achieved self-actualization of being a stay-at-home great-grandmother. She was known as Isabeau of the middle kingdom of the SCA.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by 1 son Ben Snodgrass of Greenville, 1 daughter Callie (Andy) Bell of Madisonville, 5 grandchildren Caitlynn Groves, Alora Bleu (Tristan) Yochum, Aiden Greene Snodgrass, Braeden Bell, and Lily Kate Bell, 2 Great Grandchildren Cooper Underwood and Blakely Groves, 1 brother Terry Wood of Murray, 3 sisters Karen (Chuck) Todd of Georgetown, Linda (Terry) Galyen of Greenville, and Amy (Sam) Southard of Beaver Dam, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Gary’s Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until time of funeral at 2:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, KY.
