Robert Lane Morris, 59, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born January 27, 1964 in Sumter, South Carolina to Joseph Robert Morris and Hazel “Susie” Lee Morris. Robert was an inspector for the U.S.D.A. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and going to the beach.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Robert Morris.
Survivors include his mother, Susie Morris; sister, Zina Noble; brother, Joey Morris (Sherry); companion, Leonia Smith; nieces and nephew, Jenny Williams, Aaron Morris, and Amber Zirkle; and great-nieces and nephews, Riley, Reese, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Elijah, and Logan.
Private family services will be held at a later date. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
