Dolly Ann Brown, 75, of Owensboro, was called home to her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2023. She was born February 21, 1948, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky to Bonnie and Anna Laura Raymer.
Dolly was a woman of faith and attended Phillip’s Chapel for many years, she surrounded herself with those that loved Jesus as well. She worked for years as a nursing assistant at Rosedale Rest Home and cared deeply for her patients. She enjoyed watching the Victory channel and getting her hands dirty in the garden. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren filled her with joy. She also loved her dogs, which she called “her boys”. Dolly was selfless in her love for those she worked with, the patients at the rest home, and everyone she met. She left a mark on this world and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Glenda, and Dimple; and brothers, Charles, Ernest, Bonnell, and Lucian.
Left to cherish her memory is her brothers, Jack, Harold, and Russell; sisters, Janie, and Deleana; son, Scott (Mya) Brown; grandchildren, Krislyn (Byron), Kayce (Ty), Jacob (Jamie), Eli, and Lalynn; great grandchildren, Atticus, Nomi, Jagger, Sunny, and Jasmine; as well as many more who were touched by her light.
A private service will be held to honor Dolly Ann. Care has been entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
