OWENSBORO, KY – What began as a local, family affair has now far surpassed the dreams Blake and Missie Hayden envisioned when they launched their brokerage in 2020. “When we first started as the Blake Hayden Group, it was supposed to be a small group of four or five,” Blake Hayden said during a recent interview with WBKR. He explained that the brokerage grew rapidly, “[it] became bigger than myself, bigger than my name, and we felt the branding of BHG Realty really encompassed who we really wanted to be as a company.”
BHG Realty is now home to over 35 agents serving the Owensboro, Bowling Green, and Madisonville, KY markets. A local industry leader in residential sales, BHG additionally maintains both commercial real estate and property management divisions. By shifting their branding, the Haydens hope to offer their growing staff the freedom to develop their own professional identities in order to better serve a wider range of clientele, truly living up to their motto: “Client obsessed.”
With over 250 years of combined experience in the real estate industry, BHG Realty has proven themselves to be the most prolific name in real estate in Owensboro. “My favorite part of Owensboro is my family, and our work family, and the people that we get to represent,” Blake Hayden said. His family began Owensboro’s first real estate company in 1906, and by shifting to branding which will translate to untapped markets, he now leads a brokerage with room to grow for many more generations to come.
