David Joseph “Skunk” Dauby, 70, of Tell City, Indiana was born December 25, 1952 in Tell City, Indiana to the late Charles and Mary Claise Dauby. After driving over a million miles as a truck driver for 46 plus years, he made his final journey to Heaven on September 26, 2023.
David was a kind sweet soul who lived a fun-filled fabulous life that he shared with his wife of 45 years, Teresa Dauby; daughters, Michelle (Ernie) Wallace and Brandi (Mike) Johnson; bonus daughter, Kourtney (Jeff) Casebolt; grandchildren, Tyler (Latasha) Galey, Hayli and T.J. Pate, Parker Johnson, Kayla Newcom, Mykah Wallace, Paige Staud, Valorie Waninger, Kyla and Kaiden Casebolt, and Kasyn and Emmy Ingle; great-grandchildren, Tristin, Bryar, Stella, Elliott, Hudson, and Haven; and siblings, Charles Edward Dauby, Larry Dauby, Tim Dauby, and Carolyn Lasher.
He was met in Heaven by his parents; brother, Phillip; sister, Cheryl; and Copper, his beloved dog who was excited to see him.
