A traffic accident occurred Wednesday in the 3900 block of Old Hartford Rd. at 7:42 a.m. Keirsten Haynes, 21, of the 7800 block of Monarch Rd. was injured in the accident, while drivers Michelle M. Hicks, 53, of the 30 block of Jefferson St. and Jennifer L. Haynes, 40, of the 1900 block of Kelly Ln. were uninjured. Haynes was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for injuries.
A traffic accident occurred Wednesday at the corner of Veach Rd. and New Hartford Rd. at 3:40 p.m. Drivers Brandon M. Atherton, 18, of the 9600 block of Hwy 1389 and Karen S. Heifner, 53, of the 2000 block of Cullen Ave. were involved in the accident. Heifner and a passenger, David J. Barr, 40, of the 2000 block of Cullen Ave. were injured in the accident and transported to OHRH for injuries.
A theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Wednesday at the Walmart on Frederica St. Miscellaneous merchandise was reported stolen at an estimated value of $600.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of a controlled substance) under $10,000 was reported Tuesday in the 1200 block of Leitchfield Rd. A controlled substance worth $30 was reported stolen.
A first-degree sexual abuse under 12 years old was reported Wednesday on Frederica St.

In the 5000 block of Frederica St. on Wednesday, a theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. Contents were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,497.
