Dennis Lee Schamore, Sr. age 88 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away August 21, 2023 at Louisville East Post Acute Care. Denny was born in Louisville, KY on April 4, 1935, son of the late Ann Habech and Paul Edward Schamore, Sr. He was a retired electrician who worked many years for Marine Electric and Comstock Electric. Denny was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church and IBEW Local 369. He enjoyed woodworking and sharing photographs of his mementos. Denny loved his family and was so very proud of them. He and his wife Angela were very devoted to each other and their family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law Tony Thornton and brothers Paul Schamore, Jr. and Terry Schamore.

10 grandchildren: Kirstie Stevenson (Myles), Brad Thornton, Bryan Thornton (Jessica), Kody Thornton (Miranda), Ahna Schamore-Rice (Kevin), Sarah Schamore, Trent Schamore, Corey Schamore-Mikel (Zach), Deana Schamore, Danna Schamore
10 great grandchildren: Kaylee, Karlee, Kynlee, Shelby, Brady, Ryleigh, Bentley, Joanna, Zalan, Alana
2 great great grandchildren: Connor and Charlotte
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 1 PM with burial in the Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Monday. All times are central.
