AHS secured a 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-23) victory in their first match of the season at Grayson County.
Ahalia Ramirez orchestrated the team’s offense with 29 assists, and on defense she had four digs and one block. Ava Fazio led the team in scoring with 11 kills on offense and had 6 blocks on defense. Kaley Dickinson had four aces as well as six digs during the match.
Apollo plays again on August 18 when they host the Apollo Summer Slam at the Owensboro Convention Center.
