The DC Classic was held today, and multiple local schools, including host DCHS, played during the event. The match between AHS and Crittenden County was rescheduled for August 16th.

OCHS lost 1-3 to McCracken County. OCHS’s only goal was scored by senior Ginny Young from an assist by senior Jahaira Ward.
OHS 4 Paducah Tilghman 0
OHS won 4-0 against Paducah Tilghman. Senior Sydney Lovett scored a hattrick, and junior Rehema Heri scored one. Assists were made by freshman Ella Hall, junior Hailey Westerfield, and junior Kayla Hernandez-Nava. OHS goalkeeper senior Emma Wilkins had one save.
DCHS 2 Murray 0
DCHS won 2-0 against Murray. Goals were scored by sophomores Molly Floyd and Madison Purcell. DCHS goalkeepers senior Emily Baughn and sophomore Kaelin Labhart both had three saves each.
OCHS 2 Marshall 1
OCHS beat Marshall County 2-1. Goals were scored by seniors Mallary Bailey and Annie Helwig. Freshman Peyton Reid had an assist.
