Daviess County High School won the opening game of the DC classic against Boyle County 1-0. The unassisted goal was scored by sophomore Bailey Brown. DCHS goalkeepers senior Emily Baughn and sophomore Kaelin Labhart each had two saves during the game. DCHS plays in the DC classic again against Murray at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
