The Daviess County Lions Club Fair is set to make a return starting in the coming days with a schedule full of events, a carnival, and games.

While the events technically start this Friday through Sunday with the Daviess County pageants, the fairground festivities start on July 19 and end on July 22.

The full schedule can be found on the Daviess County Lions Club Fair website here.

Admission to the fair is $15 for adults, $10 for kids ages 5-12, and free for kids under 5 (with a $5 dollar charge if they wish to ride rides). Parking is $5 per car.

In the 2023 Fair Book (available here), Daviess County Judge-Executive Charlie Castlen wrote a short letter talking about the importance of the fair.

“The tradition of the Daviess County Lions Club Fair is woven into the fabric of our community,” Castlen said. “It’s a chance to slow down and reconnect with our friends and neighbors.”
