POWDERLY – Jo Nell Dean, 77, of Powderly, died Monday, July 3, 2023, at 9:30AM at her residence. Mrs. Dean was born November 10, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Allen Dean; son, Kevin Ray Stanley; parents, William Ray Hobgood and Cora Lee Hobgood; brother, Johnny Hobgood; and sister, Geraldine Riley.
She is survived by her son, Allen (Tinea) Dean; daughter, Angela Kay Stanley; grandson, Canyon Culbertson; brothers, Robert (Marge) Hobgood and Terry (LaDonna) Hobgood; sisters, Janet (Larry) McElroy, Judy Rickard, Shelia (Mike) Neal, and Sherry (Kevin) Galloway; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
