A number of local golfers showed out in the GO Junior Golf Series to start the week, with a dozen top-three finishes coming from Owensboro at the Henderson Country Club on Monday.
In the three-hole division for the boys eight-under group it was Hudson Brasher who took first with a 14, while Griffin Fiorella grabbed third with a 17. Willie Bushong also grabbed first on the boys side in the six-hole division for the nine-10 age group with a 25.
Luke Estes grabbed first with a 78 in the 18-hole division of the 13-15 age group, while Hunter Webb was close behind in third with an 83. In the nine-hole division for the 11-12 age group it was Paxton Divine and John Yager who led the way, grabbing first and second with a 47 and 58 respectively.
It was the 18-hole 16-18 age group that stole the show though, as Jax Malone grabbed first (75), Cole Crews took second (79), Houston Danzer took third (81) and Walker Gaddis took fourth (81).
On the girls side AnnaLee Yager took first in the 18- hole division for the 16-18 age group with a 90, while Hannah Robbins finished third with a 93. Ayla Roberts rounded out things on the girls side, shooting a 40 to grab third in the six-hole division for the 9-10 age group.
The GO Junior Golf Series will pick back up on Thursday at Ben Hawes Golf Course.
