Richard Allen McCubbins, age 78 of McDaniels, KY passed away June 16, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Beech Grove, IN on January 2, 1945. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army and a former employee of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil McCubbins and Norma Ackers.
Richard is survived by 5 children – Denise (Dale) Hawkins of Leitchfield, KY; Robin Dockery of McDaniels, KY; Kevin McCubbins of McDaniels, KY; Angela (Edward) Heyne of Westview, KY and Scott (Karen) McCubbins of Axtel, KY
12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren
In keeping with Richard’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation with a private family service at a later date. His cremains will be placed at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
