The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for the Fall Adult Softball Leagues. There are competitive and recreational leagues, with men’s and co-ed divisions for each league.
Registrations and rosters must be submitted by July 12. Register online or by calling 270-687-8700.
The registration fee is $370 (plus tax) per team. This includes registration fee, sanction, and umpire fees. Championship shirts will be given to the champions of the regular season as well as the champions of each tiered tournament.
The season will begin the week of July 31. There will be 10 regular season games and a single-elimination tournament. All games will be played at Jack C. Fisher Park. Co-ed games will take place on Wednesday evenings, with men’s games taking place on Thursday evenings.
The minimum age to play is 16 years old; anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
A mandatory pre-season meeting will be held on July 26 at 6 p.m. at Jack C. Fisher Park.
