GREENVILLE, KY., James Marion “Jim” Robinson, 81, of Greenville passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Greenville on January 20, 1942, the son of Elmer Robinson and Eula Carver Robinson. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and was stationed in Korea. He was retired from Supervalu and was a lifetime member of Woodland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Sandra Gillaspie Robinson in 1997, 3 brothers Bill Robinson, Luke Robinson, and Bob Robinson, a sister Barbara Jean Driskill.
He is survived by his son Michael (Jessica) Robinson of White Plains, his daughter Melissa (Todd) Howard of Owensboro, 4 grandchildren Jaclyn (Chris) Mitchell, James Michael Robinson, Gracie Howard, and Hallie Howard, 2 step-grandchildren Celena (Paul) Heishman and Shelby (Wendell) Keoughan, 10 great grandchildren, a sister Ann Hill of Owensboro.
Graveside services will be private at Jackson Cemetery with burial to follow. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
