GREENVILLE, KY., Bobby Joe “Bud” Miller, 81, of Greenville passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Muhlenberg County on September 10, 1941 the son of Andrew Jackson Miller and Ruthie Ann Howell Miller. He was a member of Carter Creek Baptist Church and was a Shriner and a member of Pond River Lodge #244. He had worked for TVA as a pipe fitter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris Miller, and 3 sisters Flora Belle McKinney, Carrie Bailey, and Sissy Milam.
He is survived by a son Jeffery (Patsy) Miller of Knoxville, TN., a daughter Teresa Lynn Anderson of Cincinnati, OH., his special friend Janice Grace of Greenville, and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Carter Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Carter Creek Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. John Day officiating. Burial with Masonic services will follow in Carter Creek Cemetery. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
