Wendell Foster’s golf scramble returns June 16 at Ben Hawes Golf Course, marking their 16th year hosting the annual fundraiser.
In 2022, the scramble raised a record-breaking total of $36,000 and sold out with 128 golfers. Organizers hope to push even further this year, and they’re on pace to do so after selling out registration on the first day.
“We deeply appreciate the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and players for their dedication to Wendell Foster. For 16 years, this event has brought supporters together. We can’t wait for another day of fun, golf, and fundraising,” said Kara Howard, Vice President of Development and Community Engagement at Wendell Foster.
Howard said the money raised goes back to helping the organization provide services to their clients. In 2022 alone, they provided more than 75,000 services to children and adults with disabilities.
Howard recently said they are still accepting prize sponsorships and hole sponsorships. For more information, head to their website to learn how to sign up as a sponsor.
