Angela Jill Lovins Gunn, 53, of Owensboro passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Simon Cancer Center IU Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Angela was born January 21, 1965, in Effingham County, Illinois to Bill Lovins and Judy Hastings Lovins. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, and knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Angela was an avid hockey fan and was one of the Tampa Bay Lightings biggest fans. She loved nature and bird watching, along with taking photos of birds. Angela was the best grandmother in the world.
Including her parents, she is survived by her, husband of 36 years, Tim Gunn; their children, Daniel Gunn of Evansville, IN, Stephanie (Marc) Trantham of Middlesboro, KY, and Jessica (Andrew) Deminey of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Cullen and Tristan Deminey; her siblings, Amy Hartman and Aaron Lovins both of Springfield, MO. and Alicia (Terry) Kelley of Frisco, TX; her mother and father-in-law, Ivan and Connie Gunn of Owensboro; brother-in-law, Tony (Jamie) Gunn of Maineville, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 am Thursday at Bellevue Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory and after 8:30 am at the church.
