HORSE BRANCH-Maneard Geary, 83, of Horse Branch died Friday, February 24, 2023 at his home. He was born in Horse Branch to the late Everett and Ruth Raines Geary. Maneard retired from Thomas Industries and later worked at Dunaway Timber. He was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ, enjoyed fishing, woodworking and farming. He was preceded in death by his wife Chloe McCaslin Geary, a son, Marvin Geary: 3 brothers-Willard Geary, Cecil Geary and Leonard Geary.
Survivors include 2 sons: Maneard Leon (Ronda) Geary, Stacey Lynn Geary; 4 brothers-Donald (Sarah) Geary, Charlie (Kay) Geary, Glen (Carolyn) Geary and Thomas Geary; 3 sisters-Lilly (Jay) Phelps, Martha (Kenny) Simpson, Debra Mae (Terry) Jones; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Services are 2:00PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Glen Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Horse Branch Community Cemetery.
