Edwin Earl Elliott, age 79 of Eastview, KY passed away February 18, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Hudson, KY on February 13, 1944, son of the late Percy and Margarine Carman Elliott. Edwin was a farmer and outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, playing the guitar and singing with anyone that would join in. He enjoyed the company of family and friends, and always telling anyone he came in contact with about the Lord.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson Charles Robinson and great grandson Briggs Wayne Hardesty
Edwin is survived by his wife Loretta Smallwood Elliott of Eastview, KY
4 children – Lori (Chuck) Alexander of Harned, KY; Eddie Elliott (Rose Cravens) of Maceo, KY; Rachel Shelton (Chris Haynes) of Vine Grove, KY and Melissa (Rodney) Lyons of Eastview, KY
15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
5 siblings – Brenda Ann Clark of Owensboro, KY; Ricky (Linda) Elliott of Hardinsburg, KY; Barry (Vicki) Elliott of Hudson, KY; David (Debbie) Elliott of Leitchfield, KY and Patty (Anson) Muse of Rineyville, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11 AM with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 3:30 – 7 PM and Wednesday after 8 AM.
