The Raiders couldn’t muster up enough offense to grab a win in their regular season finale on Friday, falling to Todd County Central on the road 74-66.

The Rebels had the edge early on in the contest, as Jamison Wall had six points and Trayvon Foster and Preston Rager had four points each to help build an 18-11 lead after the first. Todd County Central stayed hot with 24 points in the following quarter, but the Raiders senior Gavin Howard (nine), senior Landon Smith (seven) and senior Nate Hernandez (six) leading the way to make it a 42-35 deficit at halftime.

Trinity was able to turn things around in the second half either, as they were unable to slow down the Rebels and ultimately lost 74-66. Smith and Hernandez led the way with 16 points each, while Huff had 15 and Howard had 12.

The Raiders fall to 14-15 overall as the regular season comes to a close, now taking a few days to prepare for the first round of the postseason against Butler County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
