Apollo girls bowling had a strong showing at state by nearly reaching the championship game, while Daviess County’s Jasmine Parm competed individually.

Bowling a 430 and 427 in the qualifying rounds, the E-gals found themselves as the No. 12 seed and facing No. 5 seed Johnson Central. Apollo was able to beat them 3-2 (181-140,148-188,168-162), before beating No. 13 seed Dixie Heights 3-1  (134-139,141-133,237-143) after they had upset the No. 4 seed Mercy. This led them to the semifinals, where they fell to eventual state champions Graves County 3-0 (236-122,224-150,157-135).

Parm was the only local girls bowler competing as an individual, representing Daviess County by finishing 25th out of 31 competitors with a 465 in three matches (152, 186, 127).
