Carroll Butler, age 69 of Custer, KY passed away January 21, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born in Breckinridge County, KY on February 9, 1953, son of the late Sidney and Lorene Carman Butler, He was a member and former lay speaker at Alexander Chapel United Methodist Church. Carroll retired from Crucible Industries after 32 years of service. He enjoyed playing softball and riding horses. He loved his family, brownies and diet coke. Always the aggravator, he kept his family on their toes and laughing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Rue Anna Morris and Marcella Raney.

son – Rod (Crissy) Butler of Harned, KY
daughter – Tabatha Davis (DeWayne Leslie) of Custer, KY
4 grandchildren – Gavin Butler, Bailie Butler, Hunter Davis, Fischer Leslie
1 brother – Farrell (Judy) Butler of Harned, KY
1 sister – Vonnie (Bobby) Bennett of Custer, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1 PM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, 3:30 – 7 PM and Tuesday after 8 AM.
