Sherry Morgan 66, of Calhoun, Kentucky, formerly of Drakesboro went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Sherry Lynn Frashure was born March 5, 1956 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Ray Floyd and Dorothy Jean Leachman Frashure. Sherry earlier worked as a home health nurse and attended Calhoun Baptist Church, where she helped with the Blessings Boutique Clothes Closet. She was a member of V.F.W. Post # 5480, Ladies’ Auxiliary and enjoyed making jewelry. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Morgan, who died August 14, 2003; by her mother, Doris Frashure; and by a brother, Michael Lynn Adcock.
Survivors include her father, Ray Frashure (Karen) of Calhoun; a sister, Kim Smith of Calhoun; three brothers, Tony Leachman of Calhoun, Brian Brooks (Cherie) of Owensboro and Dwight Brooks (Julie) of Fairview Heights, Illinois; a step son, Jimmy Keith Morgan of Louisville; and a step daughter, Rita Morgan of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2022 at Calhoun Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. Friends may visit with Sherry’s family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Calhoun Baptist Church. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Sherry’s family.
