United Way of the Ohio Valley is joining Giving Tuesday for the third year in a row and hopes to raise $60,000, with 100% of the money raised going toward their partners.
Their campaign will bring awareness to social needs, advocacy and volunteer opportunities in an effort to build community collaboration.
“It is not often that your donation will be used 100% toward your choice of giving. Through this platform, United Way can offer that to donors,” said Director of Community Impact Vicki Embry.
Unite Way is accepting donations through November 29, which is recognized as Giving Tuesday.
People can text “Handup20221” to 71777 to receive a prompt on how to give.
