William Thomas McArthur, age 73 of Custer, KY passed away November 3, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 19, 1949, son of the late William Joseph McArthur, Jr. and Aldonia Alfreda Jezewski McArthur. Billy was a rail yard laborer for Chrysler and retired after more than 30 years of service. His church, Custer Church of God, was very important to him. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and all Detroit sports. He had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. Working crossword puzzles was a favorite past time for Billy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Andrew Paul McArthur.
Billy is survived by 2 sisters: Laurie Ann McArthur and Lisa Stephanie (Terry) Ames of Custer, KY
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 2 PM at Custer Church of God with burial in the Custer Cemetery.
