GREENVILLE, KY., Donald Ray Winn, Sr., 88, of Greenville passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville. He was born in Big Spring, Texas on September 17, 1934 the son of Owen Winn and Edith Moore Winn. He was an independent truck driver in Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ella Joyce Winn in 2019, and brother Thomas Winn.
He was survived by 1 daughter Lorie Perez of Greenville, 1 son Donald Ray Winn, Jr. of Kankakee, IL., 4 grandchildren Donavin (Megan) Winn of Greenville, DeWayne Scott Stanley of Greenville, David (Kristina) Winn of Chicago, IL., and Ashley Winn of Chicago, IL., 9 great grandchildren Brayden Stanley, Alicia Stanley, Gavin Stanley, John Luke Stanley, Hunter Glenn Stanley, Jordan Stanley, Bradley Winn, Landon Winn, and Elliana Winn, 2 brothers Marion (Sherial) Winn of Sanger, CA., and Ronnie (Kay) Winn of OK., 1 sister Charlotte Winn of Sisco, TX.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Yeargins Chapel Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. Tom Stovall officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
