Ada Carol Payne, age 79 of Irvington, KY passed away on October 20, 2022 at her home. She was born in Breckinridge County on July 29, 1943, daughter of the late Oval Williams and Lottie C. Matthews Williams. Ada loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed listening to gospel music.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband Jack Payne; daughter Sherry Mercer; brothers Bob Williams, Tom Williams, Charles Williams; sister Linda Ratliff; granddaughter Abby Mercer and grandson Justin Mercer.
Ada is survived by her daughter Carey Adams of Irvington, KY
sons – Jack Payne and his wife Holly of Belton, TX and Jason Payne of Columbus, OH
brother – Ricky Williams and his wife Linda of Irvington, KY
Grandchildren – Bubba Mercer, Daniel Mercer, Chelsea Slone, Chadd Adams, Misty Adams, Madison Payne, Nathan Zajicek, Luke Payne, Lucas Payne and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 12 PM (CST) on Monday, October 24, 2022 at New Highland Baptist Church Cemetery, 1665 Payneville Road (Kentucky144) Sirocco, KY 40108.
