Donna Ray Gentry, age 74 of Garfield, KY passed away October 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Jefferson County, KY on March 7, 1948, daughter of the late James Tinnell and Willie Rea Harris Shields. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved family gatherings. She enjoyed quilting, reading, cross stitch and being outdoors. She loved attending church and was a member of Centerview Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Danny Gentry.
Donna is survived by her husband Kenneth Gentry of Garfield, KY.

daughters – Tracie Lynn Glasscock (Tony) of Garfield, KY and Tricia Dawn Gentry of Radcliff, KY
4 grandchildren – Kari Lynn and Savannah Dawn Glasscock. Kenneth Allen and Michael David Gentry
brother – Roger Cross (Teresa) of Coxs Creek, KY
sisters – Wanda Miner (Harry) of Oklahoma and Linda Carol Embry of Munfordville, KY
sister-in-law – Linda Gentry of Mt. Washington, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
